Tiffany- Akory abye!

Akory abye!

If you know me, you know how I love children. Its like I come alive when they are around. While we have been here we usually just get blank stares. They are full out staring you down trying to figure you out. It is really crazy and sometimes can be irritating! But, the more they see us around, the more bold they become.

We were walking home from lunch the other day, and of course, there were tons of children staring us down. I normally smile and wave, but knowing a little language, I can finally say hello! There were two girls riding one bike (yes, don't ask how they were doing it...a miracle if you ask me), and as they rode past I smiled and said "akory abye!" They smiled, giggled, and then rode off down the street. So, I  continued walking, as any normal person would, and wouldn't you know it, the girls rode up alongside me again! They were smiling and giggling, said nothing to me, and went on their merry way.

I don't speak the language (yet), but I can't wait until I can at least carry on a small conversation. More so, I can't wait to at least tell these sweet, precious, little children that Jesus loves them. If you were here, you would fall in love with their beautiful brown eyes and soft curly hair!

Please be in prayer for the little kids here and us as we interact with them in our comings and goings! God is going to do big things here in Manakara! He is good, always. His plan is always perfect!
