Tiffany-The Road Less Traveled

Our absence yesterday was unplanned....sorry to our beloved readers! We missed you! But onto some fun stories!

Yesterday, we all ventured out separately. Paige, Matt, Mika and I headed to one village while Kai, Laura and Dannielle headed to another. We all had different agendas, which was so fun! We love each other a lot, but its nice to be in smaller groups and not attract as many people.

The group I was in headed to a village we had been to before. Last week, we went to a village where we met 4 sisters. They all asked us if we could teach them english....to which we didn't know how to respond. Mika told us to just tell them we would think about it, so we did, and left them soon after. Over the course of time from that meeting to Sunday, it had been decided that I would be teaching an english class at the church. Tonight, at 5pm (10am eastern), I will head up to the church, white board in hand, to teach! I am so pumped!

Anyways, yesterday, we went back to the village and invited the girls to the class! We went expecting to see all the sisters and invite them all, but we were greeted by only one of them. She told us her sisters were in another city, and would be there for a month or so. So, despite her sisters not being there, we still invited her! And wouldn't you believe it, she said she would come!!

After we invited her, we headed to the beach. Since lunch was fast approaching, we invited Mika to come along with us. We really enjoy spending time with him! So we headed that way, had lunch, went to the beach and prayed. We prayed for our future ministry there and the youth we did see in front of us. You can also pray for our ministry at the beach! :)

After that, we headed towards the local court so Paige could experience that. Upon leaving the court, we headed home. While walking, Mika mentioned that we were passing Sylvia's house! Sylvia is a believer that Bill Mitchell was able to baptize while he was here! So, since we have been looking for her, we decided to go see if she was home. We found out that she had moved....ACROSS THE STREET FROM OM SNACK!! If you remember, Om Snack is where our new friends Fonza and Pela work...and we frequent the restaurant for their awesome coffee and omelets! Anyways, we found out where she lived, went to her house, but didn't find her. Please also be in prayer for Sylvia and her family!

Our day was spent walking around new streets and meeting new people. Just goes to show, the road less traveled is often times the best one to be on!
